Although the most popular membership site model is the Publisher type, it’s not always the case that just one model is used. The table below can show you the main characteristics of the models and how some of them span more than one model type (combination models).

The matrix shown below is intended as just a rough guide to the characterisitics of each membership model. Your membership site may fall neatly into a single model, with ticks in only one column, but there is every possibility that it will span across columns – in which case, you have a Combo model.
